Vector Design have worked with Lowe & Oliver on many projects over the past 15 years. During this time they have provided a consistently excellent service on a wide and varied range of projects (M&E contacts ranging from £50k to £4m+). In our role as M&E consultants we work on many projects with different contractors and Lowe & Oliver are one of the very best to work with; not only do they provide well thought-out installations compliant with the design, they strive to become an integral and valued member of the construction team. Their approach is consistently proactive and enthusiastic and we often recommend Lowe & Oliver to Clients without hesitation.
It has been a privilege and pleasure to work with Lowe & Oliver over my entire career from apprentice to Director. As businesses we have worked together as both client and supplier, mostly with us as the supplier but always in a friendly and professional capacity to achieve the best solution(s) for the client. I would, and often have, recommended Lowe and Oliver to our clients as a true market leader. Long may it continue !.
Queen’s College have enjoyed an ongoing working relationship with Lowe and Oliver for over 30 years, during that period they have undertaken a number of significant refurbishment projects, alongside routine maintenance and testing regimes. I have always found them to be professional, reliable and competitive whilst also managing to make the customer feel that they are their number one priority.
We have worked for L&O as an air conditioning subcontractor for a number of years on various sizes of project alongside a number of their project designers and managers. L&O does an excellent job of project leadership and coordination and the communication to our firm as a subcontractor is always good. Your firm is always excellent to work with when problems need to be resolved. The “common sense” approach of communicating with subcontractors and working out solutions is where your company excels!.
I have worked with Lowe & Oliver over many years as an Oxford University framework provider and have maintained a good professional working relationship, they help to maintain and install electrical services across many of our wide range of buildings on the estate and have no hesitation in asking them to carry out future works. I have always found them to be very professional in their approach and the workmanship is generally of high quality.
There are a small number of electrical contractors that can combine the consistently high service levels that Lowe & Oliver deliver with the wealth of traditional and modern electrical engineering skills that pre-qualify them for work in the country’s stock of historic buildings. It is a pleasure to deal with Lowe & Oliver and they remain a fixture on the majority of our tender lists.
Eton College were in need of a contractor to replace and upgrade the drainage in the undercroft of their central dining complex. This was a difficult job, in a very restricted area and to be carried out in a limited time period when the kitchen was closed. Having tried to employ several contractors without success, Eton College contacted Lowe & Oliver who were very pleased to be asked and submitted a very competitive cost. Work started on site promptly and all the work was completed in the allocated period to a very high standard, with polite and efficient staff with a good site manager. Eton were very pleased with the outcome of this project they have employed them again on a large Boarding House refurbishment.
We have worked with Lowe & Oliver over the past few years and have maintained a good professional working relationship. They help maintain our M & E services at a commercial property in Windsor and have no hesitation in asking them to tender and work on other commercial properties within our portfolio. I have always found them to be very professional in their approach and they have a can do attitude towards ourselves and our clients.
From tender to completion Lowe & Oliver delivered professionalism throughout their installation and management of the project. They highlighted any potential problems early and worked closely with design teams and us to ensure that these were mitigated in a timely and cost effective manner. Lowe & Oliver delivered a very high standard of installation within programme and budget. I look forward to working with this company again of future projects.
On the first time of using Lowe & Oliver I was impressed with their collaborative approach to the project and by working together we managed to find the best solution for our Client and the Project. Their commitment and expertise remained throughout the project from the initial tender to the final seasonal commissioning nearly 3 years later. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
